Carrie and I had been best buds for almost 10 years before we had to say goodbye on April 28th. She had quite the personality and loved being outside. I understand all dogs love being outside, but this pooch was insanely obsessed with the outdoors. Even if she could just sit out on the deck soaking up the Colorado sun, she was happy. She got to hike the Black Hills and go to wineries in South Dakota, drink from the lake below the Maroon Bells in Aspen, go fishing and ranching in Fairplay, and even took a long car ride down to the exciting town of Poteau, OK. She never wanted to leave my side. My fondest memories of Carrie will be waking up with her cuddled at my feet, her twirling before meals, and the big smile she always wore. She was truly one of a kind. Thank you for being my best friend cow girl, you are already missed.
